infant and child CPR class...
DH and i are going to attend an infant and child CPR class tonight...
it's 3 HOURS  !
anyone do this already? what takes 3 hours?

We started taking our class on Tuesday and it was 1.5 hrs long...and we have the 2nd (and last class) next Tues. for another 1.5 hrs. So its 3 hrs total broken up over 2 classes.
Its really interesting, our instructor is great, I like her a lot - and the class is free!

where are you taking it? I want to register for one. Al used to be a volunteer EMT, so he's all trained and COULD train me (he has his CPR instructor license) but I think I'd learn better from someone else and free is good.

DH and I did it, and I thought the same thing as you .......what could possibly take 3 hours????!!! But they have you watch a video, and they keep stopping it so that you can practice on the dummies.

ahhhh...makes sense!
And I actually just looked at my calendar - our class was 2 hrs and 15 minutes, and I think we may have gotten out a little early too!

We're taking our class at the local library. I called to see when it was being offered and then I registered for it when the time came. There are only about 15 of us and the teacher is really good!
