My FIL has subcontracted out to them for a lot of the kitchens he has designed.
You pick out your actual slab and sign off on the back of it. This is very important as granite can differ from slab to slab, even within the same "name" of pattern.
We got Black Galaxy for our kitchen which is almost pupe black but with specs of gold and copper in it. We also got an ogee edge which is extra by the foot. We got a Carerra marble top for the master bath.
They came and took measurements and our counters were installed a few weeks later. They were on time, neat and everything was installed perfectly.

We went to Stone World in N. Lindenhurst/Pinelawn. European had a decent selection too (they are on Rt 110) but we loved a specific slab we saw at Stone World (Maduri Gold).

We just had our granite countertops installed by Napoli on Merrick Road in Seaford.
They have a nice selection and really good prices.
We were very happy with everything.

We are going with Innovative Stone, here's their website:

I think they supply to Home Depot Expo, but we are not going through them, we are dealing directly with Innovative Stone for our marble countertop in our Master Bathroom.
I looked at many marble/granite places, and no one seemed to have the particular marble slab I wanted, except for Innovative Stone.

We chose our slabs from Hindustan in Hapauge. They have an indoor warehouse and we picked out the granite in the winter... I liked that part! C and S Marble installed. We were very happy with them. The ogee edge was included...

Is there an area in LIC where there are a few places? We are using a place in LIC too, I can't recall the name but my DH is getting a great price on it. They are templating us tomorrow.

I actually work for Innovative Stone. As a poster mentioned we are partners with The Home Depot and the Expo. Innovative just came out with their own brand of stone called Stonemark. Basically it is the only granite out there with permasheild meaning it never has to be sealed again. Its a few dollard more than the regular granite and it comes with a 15 year warrant. Regular granite should be sealed everyyear to protect it whereas this has the sealent baked right on. The only thing is that the Stonemark brand is being sold exclusivly at The Home Depot. It cannot be purchased anywhere else, not even from Innovative directly. I work in the accounting department so I am usually told about a promotion a few weeks before it is advertised so if there is a certain granite you are looking for I can keep my eyes open for you and give you a heads up. Also if you have any other questions you can feel free to FM me
definitly reccomend them though, not just cause I work there but I have seen a lot of their work and they do a great job.

I don't remeber the name of the place we got it from in LIC but it was a big warehouse where my husband went and they just huge blocks of granite...
I think we got a great price too but I know it was the same people who did my FIL's kitchen and the owner was Israeli...
i think there a couple of places
