Pretend like you don't hear it?

Console your Co-worker?

Just leave to another room?

one of mine does, it's terrible, particularly b/c IMO she's always in the wrong. I hate the way she speaks to him....but I just ignore it, or walk away.....

It's sad but we do it here in our office, I mean when no customers are around. My boss is always guilty of it. I can tell she's been arguing because she gets all blotchy.

We just ignore each other! LoL

Not my coworkers. . .but we had a rep from our phone comapny here, trainingus on the new system & he kept getting calls in his cell & ignoring them & then he answered & said he couldn't talk & you could her the other person yelling on the other end of the phone & then left the room & we could still hear him leaving & we were sitting around the conference room. . .okaaaaaaaay, no what. .

And then we gossipped about the phone guy & mad eup out story abotu how his wife was threatening to leave him . . .
It was hard to pay attention, when he finally came back.

One of mine does. When it's in Spanish, I know it's really bad and I try to give her some space.

My old boss used to call up her husband....
start an argument, w/him, WHINE, n then be like "ok john i have to go, im at work!!!!"

I will never forget this girl I worked w/ was yelling at her fiance' a week before their wedding & she screamed at him on the phone to "Go F his Mother" How they hell he married her I have no clue. I thought it was beyond repulsive.

no no. She was bitching about something & he told her she was being stupid. That made her snap & she belted out those words

There is a guy here who is fairly new and all he does is argue with his SO on the phone...it's sooooooo bizarre. We just totally ignore it.

No, but my coworker will call someone, have a 20 minute conversation talking 90 miles per minute, then when she gets sick of talking (or a soar throat, I guess ), she says "I have to go, I'm under the gun..."

Cracks me up every time.

Not in this office but in another one I worked in and yea it would get to the point of hanging up and calling back and name calling, really bad. It always left a bad feeling in the office.

One of my co-workers talks SO LOUD on the phone especially when she's on the phone with her SO, she always hangs up the phone and says, "Schmuck" or "A$$ Hole." It's actually quite annoying, we try to ignore her.

I don't think I have ever ehard someone argue with their SO at work...but I used to work with someone who would argue with her kids on the phone all the time...but honstly this woman was never home...she was married to the job...I think her kids were just trying to get attention.
