When should I start giving him 3 meals a day?
Well at the moment we are on two meals a day, breakfast at about 9.30 and dinner at about 5.30...at the moment he doesn't appear to want anymore, so my question is, how do I know that he is ready for 3 meals a day?
Let me know what you think.

My Frankie has been having 3 meals since he was 6 months. Some days though he might skip one, but I always offer all 3 though. He eats breakfast at 10 am, then lunch at 1pm and then dinner at 6:30. He gets cereal and a fruit for breakfast; lunch is a Veggie 4 oz jar; dinner is 1 container of yogurt and if he is still hungry at that time, I will give him 2.5 oz jar of a Veggie. If you don't offer though, I don't think you can tell if a baby is hungry for it. He is nursing much less now though, maybe 4 times a day.

Our doctor said to aim for 3 meals by 6 months.

This is what I do...my ped said if she is ok with it than it is fine

We've been doing 3 meals for awhile now...
cereal and fruit for breakfast
veggie for lunch and sometimes some fruit
cereal and veggie for dinner
