Some People Have Such Nerve..... or are just TRASH!
ok long story short:
some lady comes into the bar tonight with her BABY.
now i know we've already had the baby in bar debate......
i, personally dont like it, but whatever, thats totally besides the point.
Well so the baby is crying and crying and all that. Fine. Still dont say a word.
Then i go over and she is breastfeeding! Another pet peeve of mine. But once again thats another debate.
BUT she was DRINKING and brestfeeding!!!!!!! Um....... DUMBAZZ!
So im like thinking this lady is so trashy....
and i go to pick up her mess and i go to pick up a bowl (i had given her some cheeseballs)
and to my horror she had put her baby's DIRTY DIAPER IN the bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
i mean WHAT is this world coming to???
people have NO respect for other peoples' things.
i mean seriously, am i nuts or was this woman out of line on a few things?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
GROSS>
(i threw the bowl with the dirty diaper away)

Umm, I'm thinking she's out of line with a few things; drinking while breastfeeding and putting her childs dirty diaper in the bowl, just gross.

And to think at first I thought the shocking item was the breast feeding your baby in a bar while drinking. Then I kept reading....

yes exactly, i mean regaurdless of your feelings on babies in bars or brestfeeding in public i think we can all agree breastfeeding while intoxicated/under influence is just plain stupid and selfish

i feel the same....... but i dont even mind sometimes. i mean if you are friends with the owner/bartender and just shooting the shyt for a little bit no big deal. especially if the baby is well behaved, but 99% of the time i hate it.
it seems like ever since the no smoking rule came into effect people feel like bars are fine to take babies/children to

that's no place for a baby to be in.

Yuck, yuck, yuck! Pity her - she was raised by wolves.
Ok so here's a question...DH is playing a Fire Island gig starting at about 3pm. I considered bringing my kids but then decided to have a babysitter for the day. Friends of ours were going to bring their kids. Does that time of day change anyone's baby in the bar scenario?

Coming from a workplace that is very compliant with "universal precautions," I'm thinking that the diaper thing violates one GAZILLION health codes. By doing that, she risks the health of your patrons. I am far from OCD but ick that is nasty.
