Dogs who wear clothes
i can't get my dog to keep a shirt on for more than 2 minutes. she tears them off immediately!
did your dogs do this at first and then get used to it? or should i have started earlier and now it is too late? she is just over 1 yr old

My dogs have never tried to take off their shirts....but keeping boots on them is a chore.

i dont know if i really agree with this.
its not "natural" for us humans to wear clothing either.
i agree not to force it though

i'm just concerned because she is only 9lbs and when i walk her i'd like her to keep a sweater on to keep her little body warm! i guess i'll have to stick to tighter fitting sweater type things that she wouldn't be able to tear off...

I have the opposite problem. My dog won't let me take off his clothes. He fights me on it. I sometimes let him keep a shirt on a day or two but then it gets stinky and he refuses to let me take it off. If i can get off, he steals it out of the wash and hides it from me.

He doesn't like to be seen naked...HYSTERICAL!

Peanut started wearing clothes when we got her (13 weeks). Now she loves them! Velcro ones are tough though because she likes to undo the Velcro with her mouth.
