Quick update from my fire dept rant

Last night I was walking the dog. The block that the garbage can fire was turned out to the be the house that has a white female shepard that Simba LOVES to play with. Well Simba and Nikka are playing and the owner and I are talking. He tells me that the fire department showed up at his house. That is 2 times in less then 5 days. I said what? The first time was NYE when he was shooting off fireworks and a tree caught on fire. The second was the night I called. He didnt know it was me. I played dumb and he told me the entire story.

He and his buddies got all the phone wires together and put them in 3 metal bins and was melting all the plastic off. He was actually inside watching the game when the FD showed up. The FD put out the fire and told him not to do it again.

YAY I am glad to know my efforts did not go in vain

Why on Earth would he burn wiring coated with plastic?

He's an idiot... buring plastic sends off toxic fumes and God knows we don't need any more of that in our atmosphere
