Babies R us online registry
if anyone hasn't noticed They finally have their new site up, and it is now separate from Amazon..
Thank God, my poor cousins shower is coming up and the amazon list showed everything not available when the invites went out!  What a mix up that was!
Just thought you ladies might want to check your own if you have one...

I just checked it out, but i now i cant update it bc i dont have my password. I already called to get the password and they cant do anything for me now. Not sure if anyone else has gotten it yet, but they are supposed to be emailing out your new temporary password. Its annoying because i returned something i decided i didnt want off my registry and now its back up there. i want to get it taken off so it doesnt get bought again.

Where are you finding this new site? I'm flipping out. When I go to babiesrus.com it's taking me to amazon baby registry, which claims I have nothing in my registry. Please someone help before I lose my mind. My shower invites just went out and now none of the guests can get to the registry?
ETA: OK so I now realize you have to go to toysrus.com and then click on the babiesrus link. But how am I supposed to let all my shower guests know that???? Any suggestions?

I just went to Babiesrus.com and it brought up the ToysRUs site and at the top it does say baby registry.

I can bring mine up but only 1/2 of the items are available online. I'm sure people probaly won't order things for me online but its just a pain, I like to see the pictures of everything.

OK, so I figured it out. When you put babiesrus.com into the search bar, it brings up the amazon site BUT when you put in WWW.babiesrus.com, it takes you to the official BRU site (routed through toysrus.com). I'm furious that no one from BRU has contacted me (or any of us) in any way to inform us of all the changes being made. Thank goodness for you girls. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't heard from you girls what was happening.
I hope this doesn't sound too selfish, but I'm just concerned that my shower guests won't be able to find the registry and after all the research I've done, we'll end up with a bunch of things we didn't pick. Do I sound like a brat?

I had no problem getting to mine. I just clicked "forgot password" and a new one was sent to me. Then I just edited it back to the old one.
It's a definite improvement having most things available rather then nothing available!!
