eat good pizza in the Bronx at Emilios on Tremont
eat chinese in chinatown
see a show
shop in the village
hit a good club where celebrities hang out like Marquee or something just for the experience
have lunch in the hamptons
do wine tasting out east and get fresh goat cheese from Catapano's

I've done so few of the ones you've mentioned.
Ones I have done that everyone should do:
-Attend the theatre regularly, and at least a few times, see an off-off broadway show.
-Top of the Empire State Building
-Eat at Nathans, Ride the Cyclone, Go on other cheesy Astroland rides
-Go to the Bronx of CP Zoo, botanical gardens and Aquarium
-Skate at Wolman rink or Rockefeller center
-Attend the MAcy's Thanksgiving Day parade...out on the street not just from an office window...though both are great experience
-Play with the toys at FAO Schwarz and the Toys R Us in Times Square
-Go to Rockefeller Park and stare at the Hudson River
-Attend games at Shea, Bankee stadium and MSG
-Eat a pretzel, hotdog, knish, etc from a street vendor
-See a midnight showing of the rocky horror picture show
-Be in the audience of a daytime talk show
-Take a nap at the Sheep's meadow (but dont get locked in like I did once in HS)
-amble around Central Park for hours
- Go the the Met, MoMA and other museum
-Go to independent art galleries
- Go to Strawberry Fields on Dec 8
Things I have not done that everyone should do:
-
Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Circle Line
-Village Halloween Parade
-Eat at Tavern on the Green, the Rainbow Room, etc
-Be in the SNL audience
-Take a ride in a bike cab or some other weird form of transportation
-Ride in a Checker cab

Walk the brooklyn bridge.....and NOT because there's a blackout or a terrorist attack.
Walk it, and appreciate the beauty....the sweat that went into it...etc.
