With all the negative stuff being said about MILs the last few days..
And I am the first one to vent about my MIL 
I thought I should give credit where credit is due.
Today she came over - ready for this?? To thank me for her birthday gift we gave her last week!!
She said she has been so busy she didn't have time to open everything until last night ( it was 5 small things) and thanked me and told me how much she loved everything.
Dh had tried to take credit for it but she said " I know my son isn't that thoughtful and would have never realized to get me this"
and she seemed to really mean it!
