Trip Insurance Question?
I know this might be better on travel but that board moves so slow and I need to act on this ASAP. We are booking a trip with a hotel that does not offer it (not sure if most hotels do) and we are not using a travel agent. Our insurance company doesn't offer it either.
So where can I get it and how much does it cost? We are flying jet blue (which we can cancel) so I just need it for the hotel.

I don't think you can...
Just check the hotel policies very carefully. When I booked my Paris trip, I used a hotel that had a 100% refund policy up to 24 hours before.

in my experience, as long as you cancel the hotel before 4pm on the day of arrival, you shouldn't have a problem.

Our hotels cancellation policy does not allow for even close to a full refund after like a month before.

I love CSA Travel protection. I deal with them on a daily basis for various things and they are quick with their claims. I had someone who cancelled their disney cruise less then a week before the sailing and got their entire money back within a week.
Check them out.

Travelguard is the best one I know of. It's the one Travel Agents use...but of course they sell it for much more. My TA used TG for our HM...I would have saved $$ had I booked directly...good luck!
