is baptism capitalized?
I believe it should be capitalized. (We did)

I don't think it is. If you were to use Christening it definitely would because it has the word Christ in it.

i'm leaning towards no as well, but within our group of family and friends we are divided. i'm hoping the pastor will come back with a quick answer as these invitations needed to go out long ago...

I capitilized my invites. I figured it's a major sacrament, and even though to baptize or a baptism might be a verb or noun, it's still a major event in her catholic upbringing
