Does anyone get headaches like this?

I have been getting these terrible headaches, off an on, for a while. They are on one side of my head, above my eye. I get pain and pressure so I wonder if it's sinus related. I have also noticed that they occur at the same time every day. I get them around 3 am and 12:30. They last for about a half hour.

I have asked my doctor a couple times- the first time he attributed them to allergies, the second time to stress. However, I take something that works well on my allergies but does not prevent these headaches.

I know I need to go back to the doc (or really, find a new one) but I was wondering if anyone had anything similar. If there's something I can do in the meantime (other than pop Advil, which does not help anyway) I will.

I would definitely go to the doctor. They could be tension headaches or migraines.

Excedrin makes tension headache and migraine medicine that works better than Advil, you might want to try that.

Whenever I get sinus headaches I take advil with sudafed or tylenol with sudafed and have a caffeniated drink (coffee, soda). That with like a 20 minute cat nap usually does the trick.
