Need suggestions for a SONG
to sing at my sisters wedding. It will be a surprise and I will have to edit this post soon because she spies! I was thinking about You've Got a Friend by James Taylor but there is a verse in there that says, People can be so cold they'll hurt you and desert you, I don't want to sing that on her wedding day. Anyother suggestions. I really want to sing something from me to her but if there are none appropriate I will sing a general love song too. TIA!

Thank you so much everyone for your suggestions. I am trying to stay away from Celine, Bette Midler, etc since it is not really my style or my voice type. But I totally appreciate the input. I'm loving Bridge over troubled waters and natalie Merchant. I would be open to some oldies too anyone know some older songs that would be appropriate? Thanks so much-I knew I would get some great ides from you ladies. Wheres the DJ when you need him??
