Christening locations (Suffolk)
I am looking for suggestions for halls to have Hayley's Christening party. I looked at the Polish American Hall in Port Jeff.
Any other suggestions?
ETA: I have a large family so I need something like a VFW that is nice inside. I have seen a few that are really run down.

Re: Christening locations (Suffolk)
I looked into polish american hall too... I like it there...but by the time you added the hall, the clean up fee, bartender fee, and the 7 pp beer wine and soda fee, you were close to a grand...
For 1090..I went with TGIF in Farmingville (I think thats what it is) and that includes the room n a DJ...
Im not sure of the price if you just want the room...
Also- I had my e-party at the knights of coloumbus in centereach...its really nice...but you have to use there caterer, and I think its a little pricey..
Theres the hiberian hall in selden... (its not very nice on the outside but ok on the inside)

Thanks!
I forgot all about TGIF. We had my brother's graduation party there a few years ago. My FIL went to the Knights of Columbus in Centereach and I think he said it was pricey.

I am fvery familiar with TGIF. Was the $1,090 the total price of everything?? AND the DJ? How many people. I am just asking because my daughter is having her communion this year and I don't know what to do.

Isnt the Meadow club a wedding place?
mostly- but I guess you could have any kinda party you want there- they sure arent gonna turn down $$$
TGIF - the room n Dj is 1090- (my friend dad caters and is giving me a huge deal on food-
If I wanted them to do it- It was 24pp (I think) that included 7 hot trays, salads, g knots, the room, dj, waitstaff, matrie d, the cake cp balloons, beer wine and soda, linens, and hmmm i think that was it...
I ended getting there waitstaff for 100 pp ( i got 2 waiters, n i invited 75 people) There ice service (80)- so I buy my own soda n they take care of the ice n keeping it cold n stuff, and there coffee (1.67?/adult)
So now all I gotta do is show up ( I saved about 500 bucks doing it this way w/ the food..Im literally only paying what its costing him to make the food) Hope this helps!

No the meadow club is not just a wedding place. You can have differnt occaisons there. There are smaller rooms there besides the big one. It is really nice there i had my wedding there and they are great to work with.

Re: Christening locations (Suffolk)
I don't have a christening place near Port Jeff but know a slew of places in Northport/Huntington area...
In the end, I'm just really responding to point out what great taste you have in Halloween costumes...here's my giraffe from 2 years ago. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Christening locations (Suffolk)
We had Jenna's at Mario's in East setauket-they had different price packages (which weren't bad at all since we were on a budget) and the food was delish-everyone was raving. My baby shower was there too.

Re: Christening locations (Suffolk)
I did a brunch at Nocello's in Northport - it was very inexpensive and the food was awesome. I think for 20 people it cost us $500.

Re: Christening locations (Suffolk)
there are a bunch of places in Babylon. Nights of Columbus, American Legion's, if you go to yellowpages.com and do the 631area code, they will all pop up in the area.
