We're probably going to my mom's house. I know i'm a mom to be and can still celebrate but I feel kind of cheated...LOL because I have to wait till next year to celebrate my first real mother's day with my son but DH gets to have his first father's day in June cuz our son will be a newborn...

Well we started a "tradition" last year of hosting Mother's Day at our house. So I guess that means I'll be busting my butt on Mother's Day. I told DH that next year we're either going out again or having it catered because I don't think I should have to work so hard on Mother's Day-especially next year because it will be my first.

I hear ya we will only be a little over a week shy of celebrating Mothers Day with our daughter but she will be here for Fathers Day

I hear ya we will only be a little over a week shy of celebrating Mothers Day with our daughter but she will be here for Fathers Day
Same here - I'll just miss Mother's Day by about 10 days. But that's ok, because we have our anniversary coming up on Monday, then the baby's birth, then my birthday. DH is going to be all gifted and celebrated out  .
Our parents don't live here, so Mother's Day will just be a regular old Sunday for us.

I don't think we'll be doing anything for me, and I'd really prefer not to. We'll probably be taking my Mom to brunch or something similar...
But we leave for our babymoon the day after Mother's Day, so that is gift enough for me!

I usually take my aunt out every year. Her kids are really young, so they stay home with my uncle so she can go out. So this year she said it would be her treat.

Exactly DH has been good with that, every holidays since I got pregnant, I have gotten a mommy to be card. Meanwhile, I can not find any daddy to be cards

Same here, unless my baby arrives 2 weeks early then I'll be celebrating my first mother's day.

Bedda, I feel the SAME WAY! I'm due a week after you, and am sure I won't go early enough for Mom's day, but am sure the baby will be here for Father's Day! After carrying this baby, for what seems like A YEAR, can't we catch a break!
