Right near there, 1 or 2 exits before the meadowlands, there is a mall in secaucus called Mill Creek. In there, there are a bunch of restaurants, Chili's, Pizzeria Uno's, etc.
It's on Route 3 west. Then all you have to do is get back on Route 3 and you'll see signs for the meadowlands.

In Secaucus there is a really nice italian restaurant called "Trillo's". In East Rutherford, there are a few good italian places....Sonoma Grill, Il Village (sp?) and my DH's favorite....Jerry's.

Or you can stop in Hoboken- they have TONS of great restaurants.
