Can I BD today even though I have an IUI scheduled for tomorrow?
I had a trigger shot today and was wondering if we could bd today even though we have an IUI scheduled for tomorrow morning? There isn't a male factor.

Is your DH giving a fresh sample tomorrow? If he is, you should not. He's supposed to "save up" for 2-5 days...at least that's the way it is with IVF.

Technically you can bd the day before an IUI if there is no male factor. I would try not to bd 12 hours before though. In other words don't bd, before going to bed then IUI in the am. However, you can bd during the day. According to Dr. San Roman, having 5 million or 50+ million.....shows no difference in success rates. Basically it's a bell curve. Dh has asked this question to Dr. Saketos and Dr. San Roman, both said the bding prior wouldn't hurt unless of course you fall under the 5 million count.

My RE said not to BD for 2-3 days before our IUI but we did the day before our last (and successful) IUI and his count was still 68 million.
