How many of us are taking an expectant parents class?

Dh and I signed up for one. I am also taking the breast feeding class.

We just signed up for childbirth prep class, and a breast feeding class too.

i want to do these as well along with a CPR class. where did you sign up? i will ask my dr. at my next appointment and possibly call up the hospital where i am scheduled to deliver. i'm in jersey...

I am delivering in NSUH Manhasset. We now live in Monroe, NY. So, I am taking the classes up here.

I asked the dr at my last appt, he gave me all the paperwork for classes the hospital offers and my pre admission stuff. I am CT

We took a breast feeding class, infant child CPR and Lamaze. The Lamaze we were a bit disappointed with... It was a full Saturday and was $150 and we only did about 15 minutes of breathing which we were hoping for a lot more than that since we are planning a natural childbirth. The rest was basic information and films which we already knew about or could have done on our own...

We're doign lamaze which includes baby basics. I am also doing a breast feeding class. We will also take infant-child CPR.

I'm having alot of trouble finding out how/where to sign up for these classes. I tried the hospital where I'm delivering, and I tried my doctors office. All anybody has done is give me phone numbers for the person who does the classes. Nobody has called me back yet.

I have also tried to find out about a "baby care" class, and everybody I ask acts like I'm an idiot -- that there is no such thing.

Can anybody offer any suggestions, or information I can use to find this stuff?

We were supposed to have ours all day on Saturday, but I was too sick to go so we got rescheduled for a class on 2/18. I hope the baby doesn't arrive before then. I'll be 38 weeks! We're also going on a maternity tour at the hospital in 2 weeks.

I just signed up for a breastfeeding class. It says the registration fee is per couple so does that mean you're supposed to bring your DH? Would you bring your DH to a BF class? I know it will be hard for him to make it home from work in time and I'm sure he doesn't want to go anyway. After all I'm the one with the boobs!
