Pure Six month weinmarner(sp?) up for adoption...update.. she was adopted.

We recently told you the story of Diamond, an eight month old Weimaraner puppy that was discovered by Metropolitan Transit Authority Officers on the commuter train tracks in Flushing, New York. It was obvious she had been hit by a train. North Shore Animal League America provided Diamond with the care she needed to recover. Diamond, however, needed a foster home while she healed. Two of our supporters, Jill and Lyn, stepped in and agreed to foster her until she was ready to be adopted. They did such an amazing job that after two weeks Diamond was ready to go. Then they went an extra step and found the ideal home for Diamond.
We are happy to announce that today Diamond went to live with her new family on a 10 acre horse farm. Diamond will also have a new friend to play with; a two year old Weimaraner. The League couldn't have asked for a happier ending.

If I didn't already have 5 dogs I'd be all over that adoption. I did donate to her surgery fees though!
