BTDT Moms... Introduction and Firsts
Hi girls... Well I'll finally introduce myself as a new mommy. I had my DD Aug 12. (pic in profile) and she is the love of my life. Her name is Katia (kah-tia) Rain. She was 6lbs 9oz and 20 inches. Anyway I have a couple of questions. At what time in the first year did you expeirence these things:
first smile
first laugh
first tooth
first word
crawling
standing
walking
I can't wait to see the first real smile, please tell me it's soon. Thanks ladies for all your answers. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Congratulations! She is beautiful!
As for the firsts, I can't remember the exact dates but DS will be 4 months old and he had his first real smile at 1 month. The first laugh well it was more like a giggle, he did that at 2 1/2 months. But know he doesn't do it as much, he smiles and squeals mostly.
As for the other firsts you mentioned he's still too young for that...

We just had our first real smiles last week- week 7. Now I do everything to get her to smile- I love it!

Oh, duh, let me answer. I got so excited to see you, I didn't bother to answer
First smile, around 6-7 weeks.
First real laugh around 13 weeks.
She's starting to teeth now at 15 weeks.
And all the others she hasn't reached yet.

first smile - 6 weeks
first laugh - 3 months - a real chuckle!
first tooth - 6 months
first word - daddy & Mum @ 9 months
crawling - 8 months
standing - not standing but cruising furniture at 9 months
walking - still waiting....

welcome. DD is only 4 mos so we still haven't had many firsts yet.
First smile at 5 weeks
First laugh this past week and very rare
and she started rolling over this past week.
