My DH just gave me the most thoughtful 'pre-anniversary' gift
So our 1st wedding anniversary is on Monday the 25th. I was kinda down in the dumps because we had originally planned to be on vacation next week, but DH got a promotion and had to switch around his time off.. he wasn't even able to take the DAY of our anniversary off!  So we decided to celebrate our anniversary this weekend
Well I gotta say, so far he's done GOOD  Anthony came home tonight with the most beautiful, thoughtful gift ever..
He contacted our wedding day florist, Laurie from LABLOSSOM, and had her create a beautiful bouquet that incorporated all of our wedding day flowers! The beautiful vase and the flowers looks nearly identical to our reception table centerpieces - it has the same color scheme and everything
The funny part is that prior to my wedding, I wasn't a big flower person. But Laurie was my favorite vendor and I absolutely ADORED my flowers.. she turned me into a flower lover! I was so so sad that I could not save my bo-k because I hadn't taken care of it.. and Anthony rememberd that.. So he really outdid himself by coming up with this idea and working with Laurie to help recreate this special wedding day memory for me 
Laurie also added a "monogram" of F-P-A with little rhinestone charms/pins.. it's just perfect!
I was crying when he walked in with this  While I know it may not seem like a big deal to most of you, this gift (and the thought behind it) meant more to me than a million bucks
I love my DH sooo much 
Here are some pictures..the flowers look even more goregous in person! (and the greenery got a little discheveled since DH had to drive it home on the LIE to Westchester!)
This is a pic of my wedding day centerpiece... see how Laurie did such an amazing job of recreating it!! Laurie you ROCK! TY!!

I appreciate it, I think its amazing..one I know how GREAT Laurie is..and Two- I didnt take care of my bok either so I know exactly how you would feel getting it!

Thank you all for your sweet words and well wishes
I showed Anthony the post and he did a lot of this at the compliments you gave him
I am a lucky lady indeed ... so lucky in fact, that after the flowers and a nice dinner out, the kickoff our to our "anniversary weekend" started with DH promptly passing out and falling fast asleep by 10:30  
But how could I be mad after him being so sweet huh and I have you girls to keep me company, as always!

I love LAURIE and I feel the same way. She was my favorite vendor. And I wasnt a flower person and now I totally am!!!!!! Because of her and her amazing work!!!

You know, there is nothing better than a gift with thought put into it. I'd rather have those flowers than diamond earrings.
What a wonderful DH you have. You are so lucky to have eachother.
