random veggie question

Are there any veggies that you like cooked and not raw, or raw and not cooked? I have so many that I only like one way or the other.

Raw, but not cooked: celery, cucumbers (I had cooked cucumbers in Thai food once...so weird!)

Cooked, but not raw: onions, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini

Raw only- spinach, broccoli (don't love it, but it's tolerable) and carrots. Oh, and raw onions on salads.

Corn on the cob is the only cooked veggie that I eat- I can't deal with cooked ones because they look mushy and I can't deal with mushy food. And one of the big reasons why I make my own sauce is that I can't deal with finding chunks of things in it. Not even a little bitty piece of onion.

I cannot stand raw onions.. they disgust me. But I enjoy them cooked, fried (yum) sauteed, etc

Truthfully most everything else I prefer cooked.. I not a big fan of raw veggies in general. Just too crunchy for me. I can tolerate raw cauliflower/broccoli/mushrooms but I MUCH prefer them cooked.

And then the veggies that do taste decent raw to me (carrots, spinach, cucumbers) I just dont like that much in the first place, so I dont really eat them either way

I should say I will eat spinach raw (in saladds) but I HATE cooked spinach

Carrots!

I have such an issue with this. My mom used to give me a small plate of raw ones if everyone else was eating cooked one. I can eat them in soups & stews though.
Onions I prefer cooked but I can eat the red ones raw insmall doses.

i cannot eat tomato on a sandwich, but like tomato soup/sauce. weirdo.

I like em all! But there are some better one way verses the other. Like peppers I like raw better.

I am totally this person!!! I can only eat fruit raw and alone. No dried fruit or fruit in baked items, except for jelly as in PB and J. As for veggies, I love pretty much all veggies any way except for carrots.

Carrots can only be in soup. I get sick at the thought of raw sticks of carrots, carrot juice or carrots in a salad. They are so friggin sweet that when they are cooked, and ONLY in soup, they are good. Weird!
