Very personal... TMI question!
 I can't believe I'm posting this, but last night my DH and I did the deed which is hardly ever since all the problems I was having. Well actually I was on top because of nothing else being comfortable.  Anyway, we did the deed, but beforehand we were fooling around and I had an "O"... I can't help but think I hurt the baby because of the "O" you know from contracting and etc., and then from the movement from doing the deed. I can't help but feel guilty because of this.  I feel like I hurt the baby, honestly!!! How can that be comfortable for him? Anyone else worry about this? Thanks!

Believe me, your baby is fine. Doctors say so, pregnancy websites say so...the baby is totally unphased by anything and protected in his/her little world that they are probably sleeping during it all. (Thats what i like to think, lol)
My doctor told me its ridiculous when he hears about couples that refuse to do it during the 9 months out of fear of hurting the baby. Unless you have a medical reason to abstain (bleeding etc) go for it! Be happy! Because I'm sure at the very end of pregnancy and when your little one does arrive, it'll be few and far between for a while

I read somewhere, that babies are not harmed by this and usually find it soothing...the rocking motion of the contracting is relaxing to them.

i wouldnt be worried. O's are calming for the entire body, im sure the baby will be fine

Thanks everyone! I feel much better! 
I also told my DH that I thought it was weird because right before we started fooling around the baby was kicking up a storm! I thought it was weird because he was awake as if he could see something!

I was nervous at first too, but then read that baby enjoyed the soothing motions & hormone surge -- i started thinking of it as if baby was on a drug-free 'trip,' just floating around with a big smile on her face.
Rock on, i say!
