When did you know if it was a hand or foot...
poking you in your belly? My kicks are getting much stronger and much more pronounced but I still can't tell what is poking me. At times, I'm feeling two at a time which could be a hand and a foot at once and depending on how strong it is, my body and sometimes my entire body moves!

I'm 37 weeks and I have never known what i am feeling...i just love feeling the kicks.

I am a bad mommy - I can barely even figure out what it is on a sonogram let alone when she pokes me!!!

When I went to the OB last week, she told me that the head was down but not engaged (I'm 27 weeks). Knowing that, I've more or less been able to figure out hands v. feet since then. But without her telling me about the baby's position (and that the baby would probably stay down), there's no way I would have know. I think I may also be feeling hiccups at times, which helps locate the head.

Thanks ladies. It just makes me wonder bc people always say.... "wait till you see the hand poke thru your belly..." and I'm just waiting to see when that will be!  So exciting!

i'm 29 weeks and have no idea what's poking me, but boy, does this baby move around a lot! sometimes it shakes my whole body!

I feel the same thing.. like a sudden jolt that moves my entire body! Funny how something to tiny can give you a good kick that makes your whole body flinch!

I'm 36 weeks and  has been head down for the last month ... so his feet are always sticking me high up and his hands are always grabbing low!

Same here. Now that I know what position he's in I have fun guessing what part of the body he's moving...LOL
