anyone have a big weight gain month?

I was so pleased with my body and how it was handling pregnancy. But all of a sudden I've put on so much weight. I think I've put on about 8 pounds in the last couple of weeks. I was doing so well and now I feel like I've blown up. I'm 22w3d and up 15-16 pound. I feel like that's a lot considering I was only up about 7 pounds a month ago. Did anyone else have a "big month"? I'm hoping this stops soon. I know it's not normal, or healthy, to be putting on 2 pounds a week.

I had one month with a big jump of 9lbs But it evened it self out the next month. My dr told me that in summer months PG woman hold onto to water more than most people.

I had the same thing happen, until I had a big gain of around 8 pounds in my 7th month... one week alone it was 4.5 pounds! Don't worry... Its all for a good cause

i def did...i gained 9 lbs up to my 4th month..then i gained like 6lbs in a month..slowed down..and went up again..im 38 weeks pg and gained like 32 lbs..i went to a wedding and rehearsal dinner and fathers day bbq and now im scared what i gained this week

I think I have put on 5 pounds this month and still have two more weeks till my next doc appointment. I am 21 weeks and have only gained 1 pound up until now, so I guess it is catching up to me!

Don't worry about it. I gained 45 and 54 lbs w/my daughters. It's ok.

It's perfectly fine!!!

With Caiden I gained 65 lbs. And with this one I gained 10 lbs. in the first 15 weeks and then 11 lbs. more by 19 weeks and I think it was 9 lbs more at 23 weeks, and it was 6.5 lbs more by 26 weeks. So I'm almost at 40 lbs already!!! I was hoping not to gain as much as last time, but I have big babies. My belly has grown a bit the last couple of months.

I went to the deli a little while ago to get a sandwich for DH and the girl who wors there was like, "whoa, you got big. Are you having twins?"

When I went to the Dr. at 10 weeks, I was up 9 lbs. Then, at 14 weeks, I didn't gain any additional. When I went back at 18 weeks, I gained another 9 lbs. So, now at 18.5 weeks I am up 18 lbs. I am seeing a nutritionist because I don't want to gain so much being that I am overweight to begin with. I feel like I am doing everything right, but I just can't seem to slow down this weight gain

When i was pg with my dd during months 6 & 7 i gained 10lbs/month. I gained 50 in total.
Dont worry, with a little bit of work, it will all come off.

My 5th month was the most. I think it was around 8 lbs.

no not a month, the doctor says Im fine but I gained total 11 lbs in 12 weeks!!!!

5th month I gained 10pounds

I had two months in a row I think it was my 6th & 7th month visits were I gained 7lbs one month and then 9lbs the following . Then I gained 4lbs the 8th month and then I went back up to about probably 10lbs the last month. I ended up gaining about a pound a week until I hit my last month and I gained a total of 45lbs.

I've actually started losing again . I've been VERY busy packing and running errands and getting the new house ready for the move. I'm now below my pre-pregnancy weight by 3 lbs. My doctor's going to be mad at me.
