The dog just jumped RIGHT on my stomach
I was sitting on the end of the couch with the laptop in my lap, doing some research. DH was upstairs fooling around with Bama. So then Bama comes running down the stairs, takes a flying leap and lands right on my stomach. I didn't expect him to do that so I didn't brace myself. He's a 53 lb. dog! So I've been crying for the past half hour because I'm worried sick that something could be really wrong. I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow to ask what signs I should look for.
I've yelled at DH numerous times to not fool around with the dog and get him all riled up like that

reggie did this to me all the time and like you I was really worried as well- he is only 21 lbs though but he did it all the time. ANyway I have heard that it takes alot of force- like the impact of a car accident for something to happen( even then its rare)- the way our bodies are they are protected very well in there- I would get to worried ( I know its hard not to though)

I have an 80lb American Bulldog and have been pounced a few times. Don't worry about it, they are surrounded by a cushion of water.

I can feel the baby kicking, so I guess that's a good sign, but I'm still going to call the doctor tomorrow just to be safe.

Sounds so familiar
Kanga weighs around the same and has done that to me twice, once while DH was driving and I was sitting in the front. I would call your doctor for peace of mind, but I'm sure you are fine.

Bailey did it to me too!! And she's 85-90 lbs....the baby was fine! Don't worry!!

my girlfriend fell on her stomach in her 5th month, really hard down a flight of stais, baby was fine, her doc told her she'd be surprised how much rough, tough activity that baby can handle.
