Don't shoot me...wedding related question
I'm sorry to post about a wedding thing but my friend needs help. She's upstate and wants dark purple roses in her bo-k. Her florist seems to be missing the mark and keeps showing her red roses. Does anyone know the name of dark purple roses or have any suggestions? I tried LIW but I don't think anyone knows.

It could be black magic roses.. or maybe this one? (I tried to get this color for my bo-k at the time, but my florist tried and couldn't find them ... she had sent me this pic)

If she is looking for a dark purple flower that isn't a rose --- which is easier to find..
We wound up using these for my bo-k. It was a combination of lisianthus and sweet pea

Black Magic can also be red - maybe that's the confusion? Sterling is a lilac colored.
Also I don't mind wedding related questions either.

Yes I believe they can be dyed, but I'm not sure I would go that route... I would be soo worried the dye would run and stain my dress

I copied Felica and used the lisanthus too- they looked beautiful with white orchids.

Oh by all mean, go right ahead - I adored my flowers (my florist rocked!) and it is definitely easier to find those flowers in purple than the purple roses I believe..
Good luck!!! (ahh I miss wedding planning sometimes  )
