Misty did that with Hershey's Miniatures once...I didn't even realize she was eating them until I caught her removing the wrapper(she had the wrappers stashed in her crate )

Chocolate can cause heart worms. However a small thing like a peanut butter cup this one time isnt terrible, but if he ate peanut butter cups everyday then that can cause major problems.
Peanut butter though my puppy loves. I put about a table spoon of peanut butter in his kong and it's like he is eating a lobster.

I do the same thing with his kong 
Ya he didnt poop it out like I thought he would. Plus we had him at the vet last tuesday and they gave him a dose of de-wormer so he should be ok.
