How was all of the kiddies first days of school?
I got very weepy seeing all of the little ones waiting for their buses

Patrick only had an orientation. He only got to meet 2 classmates. God knows where the rest of them were. We know he has 1 old Pre-K friend in his class. But, he wasn't there yesterday.
So today is really the big day. I don't know what I'm going to do.

We had 1/2 day but my daughter did very well, she thinks 1st grade is going to be great!!!!! I love her teacher and she has all her friends in her class. The only downfall...her catholic school is already looking for $ for book fairs, magazine drives, etc
My middle daughter starts on Mondya and she is so excited, expecially since her teacher is a friend of mine

I think the better question is how did the moms do. I only got teary-eyed when I saw DH crying as the bus pulled away.
Joseph did really well. His first day was yesterday. He wore his uniform (he's in catholic school for now). He walked around the house pretending he was the principal, saying "YOU- IN MY OFFICE NOW!" "Did you hear me? In my office"....phrases he's become VERY familiar with at daycare.
He got off the bus & yelled "Mommy - I LOVED it!"

omg Barbara he is so handsome! He's as funny as ever you have a real character on your hands! 
The uniform takes me back, I have the same pic of me and my brother when we started school. Same colors too!

My son started 3rd grade - he loves his teacher already and said he had a great day. Unfortuneatly none of his friends are in his class this year.

I am soooo getting flashbacks Joseph is too funny He'll either make a good principal or a good high powered executive one day.
I'm so glad he had a good time
