Oh I saw this last night on geraldo at large or whatever its called on channel 5 , I think her excuse was pretty lame, but I also think b/c she is a celeb and her pic is taken all the time that is how she got caught.

They weren't on the front page of the paper. She should be scared of doing that again. She shouldn't be able to drive like that because she's a celebrity (or because she's just stupid).

Well it sounds like a bit much to me...I imagine that anyone else would get slapped with a summons and a hefty fine and be sent on their way. But I could be wrong. If this is what they would do anyone else who got caught doing something as assinine as this, then she deserves it too.

I think they are trying to send a message- that negligence with your kids WILL be investigated- no matter who you are. It is also to show parents of non-celebrities that this is unacceptable behavior (for the few who don't already know that)
