Anyone Have Someone Come to Their House To Watch their Kid(s)? Or Know Someone Who Does??
I am planning on having someone watch the kids 2 days per week (about 20 hours a week). Just wondering what the going rate is before i sit down with that person. You can FM me if you want to.
ETA - Either per day or per hour.

I have a nanny who comes every day...8:30-5:30.
it comes out to a little more than $10/hr....

My mom is getting $15/hour to watch a newborn. I think it's a bit high but the new mom is pretty smart cookie. Knowing my mom, she'll be cooking for the family, organizing her kitchen & shopping for them within 2 weeks.
The daycare teachers at my school babysit for $11/hour.

I have someone come in 3 x a week for 3.5 hours a day. I pay her 30 a day. Any additional hour she is there, I give her 10 bucks more.
