anyone travel to europe in the 1st trimester?
DH and i would like to start TTC in August. Only problem is is that if it "works" right away, I would be several weeks pregnant for our 2 week trip to Italy.
Should we just wait to start TTC until we get home in Sept. or do you think it would be OK to travel being PG?

How many weeks would you be? I just wouldn't want to be nauseous or really tired in another country on vacation, I'd want to enjoy my trip. Lots of baby dust to you!!!

I would be about 5 weeks.
trying in italy is an option since I will be ovulating while there - I do like italian names

I travelled to the US when I was 6 months pregnant. There are lots of pregnant ladies in Italy, so you should be okay!

I personally wouldn't hold off if you're ready to TTC. But in full fairness, you may be a little more tired than usual on the trip. And obviously you're not going to be able to drink all of that yummy wine.

I went to spain at 15 weeks and Italy at 25 weeks and i was fine! just make sure to bring whatever meds you need with you for heartburn etc....also, look up english speaking doctors just in case anything god forbid should happen

Knowing what a worrier I am, its probably best to wait till we're in europe or the following month to start TTC. I would be freaking out if I even spotted a little or had a slight cramp being so far away from home. And with the $ we're spending for this trip, why shouldn't I EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY
