Is this a good price on lawn treatment?

We live in NC. We got a couple of FREE estimates to treat our lawn year round. We have a 3500sf lawn and to do all Fertilizer, weed control, lime, bug treatment, aeration and seeding we can get it done for $50.00 per month. They come every 6 weeks to treat it. We got that estimate from Scotts Lawncare. It also includes FREE service calls when necessary and if we're not happy with something they'll come back free of charge. What do you think? We tried to do it ourselves last year, but it didn't work out to well. Between my 2 yr old, and both of us working 2 jobs each, it's hard to find the time to do that and mow the lawn. Since we have an acre it's takes us 1.5 hours just to do that. Thanks!

We live in NY and tried Scotts Lawn Care three years ago. While Scotts' products are excellent, the service we received was horrendous. I cancelled after the third treatment when they claimed the provided us with a treatment and they never did. They were extremely nasty and hostile. Maybe the nastiness is just a NY thing. I hope so. We plan on moving to NC, hopefully, by the end of this year. If not, definitely, early next year (depending on the housing market). Anyway, we still use Scotts' products and they work fine. The price they quoted you was the same for us. It's nice not to have the nastiness as an added bonus, though.
