Apprentice Spinoff: Brent Q
To Be Honest i think some pple judged him from the moment he started...mainly b/c he is a little overweight and doesnt look likea slim, goodlooking wall street exec.. I was really ****** last nite that evry time he tried to talk they wouldnt let him get a word in, and so far i havent seen one horrible thing he has done, i just feel like from moment one he was pegged as "annoying" and every1 is just following that lead...
as a side note, they flamed the guy who came up with the bathrobe idea, as tho it was the worst idea in creation--i actually thought it was kinda smart being they needed a gimick and gillete (razors) and bathrobes DO go together..

Yes initially i think he was judged on his weight and look. But come on, the guy dresses sloppy and looks a mess....He is rude and umprofessional imo.
I think he likes that and is working it.
There seems to be one on each show

unfortunatly i think someone who is heavier might appear "sloppy" when thats not how they want to come across.. im def not sticking up for the guy 100% cause he needs to come up with ideas but it just irked me how its easier for them to all blame him then go and do some work

It seemed like that woman who got fired caused all the drama. Instead of being mature & professional and allowing Brent to speak and taking his comments in stride (at least he had the decency to pull her aside and be honest) she acted like a big baby- making the group talk about Brent instead of the task at hand.
Yeah- Brent is as loose canon, but quite frankly, he came up with the winning idea last week and no one gave him the credit for it.

true...but i have also seen heavy people dress well.

What I thought was funny was when he was fixing himself in the mirror to go to the boardroom, and he was messing his hair up more, making it look messy. He thinks it looks good.
But I do agree he gets ignored and has from the beginning, based on his looks, which is totally unfair. If they would listen to him, he has had some decent ideas and I truly believe it was him, jumping around like a jackazz on the corner that got their group as many call as they did. He in my opinion is the American people, the others are all too friggin stiff.

I agree too, I think it was his dancing around that got people to text msg. He does though need to clean up a little bit, and I won't discount the fact that he's annoying as all hell!!!

I do think he needs to clean up a bit and brush his hair and keep on top of the fact that he sweats (like carry a rag or something) but honestly I think they redflagged him from the begining because hes overweight. Although I will admit maybe I am biased on the subject.

I think he probably is reasonably bright, but doing the "Truffle Shuffle"* on national tv made give him some credibility issues.

Even though many people are discriminated, or made fun of etc for being overweight, in this case I think this does not apply. He needs to clean up and to be a little more assertive instead of being a drama guy. I've seen plenty of people that are overweight yet they look clean and professional and carry themselves well. And I think on his hair..he must put some kind of grease or something...and I should say on his taupe.
If you want for people to listen to you, you need to become assertive and act like a professional. He is very smart....after all, he's a lawyer but I find him to be annoying and it has nothing to do with his weight.
The man craves for attention.......whatever kind of attention he can get...JMO......

I am not sure that I TOTALLY think this is a weight and look issue. Besides, this guy is plain HYPER which is really irritating. The same way I didnt like him was the same way I didnt like the girl that accused him of harrassing her. People dont like HYPER REACTIVE people who cant sit still and listen. I think his weight / looks is just something that the TV is trying to present as part of a hate for not looking good. I think he needs to calm down!
