Anyone make holiday cookies or cakes they would like to share?

I am doing new years and I would like to make "easy" cookies and cakes. Does anyone know of any good recipes? thanks so much!!!!

as far as easy-

I use the sugar cookie recipe that comes with the butter flavor crisco bars.

chcocolate covered pretzels are SUPER easy

I don't have a cookie or cake recipe but I do have a dessert that is so easy and so good...It's a trifle and I'm not sure of the name of it but you bake a box of brownie mix. Once cooled, you break it up in to little pieces. In the trifle dish, you do the first layer as the broken up brownies, then top with chocolate pudding, then top with toffee pieces and then top with cool whip. You then do another round of the layers and you're all done.

It's so good and looks like you spent a lot of time on it.

I have a great zuchini bread recipe that I bake as gifts. I get the tin loaf pans and wrap them in cellophane.

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 1/4 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups grated zucchini
1 cup chopped walnuts OR chocolate chips

Grease and flour two 8 x 4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well. Stir in zucchini and nuts until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.
