Yes. She made my pregnancy and delivery the best, most wonderful experience. She left her son's little league game so she could deliver my son even though she wasn't on call. She is caring and makes you feel so comfortable. I hightly recommend her without a doubt!

I have a question as I am thinking to switch doctors and I hear only great things about her. If she is the only one in her practice, are there long waits for appointments? do you have to outside for sonos? and does she do all deliverys? sorry to hijack the post.....

She is in practice by herself but she shares office space with another doctor. She told me that 99.9% that she would deliver my baby. I met with the other doctor that would be on call Dr. Dolisi and there was another doctor on call the day I went into labor but she came and saved the day and was there to deliver my son. That meant alot to me.
You do have to wait a while for her appts but I think it is because she spends time with you without rushing you. I think it was worth it. She has night appts and i did didn't get out until late but I would not have it any other way.

She does have a sono there but sends you out for the level II. I even had gestational diabetes and she sent me to another place to check the size of the baby and to make sure he wasn't too big. I felt she was thorough and I even said in the delivery room that it wasn't so bad and I could do it again. I feel uit had alot to do that I felt safe with her and knew she would take good care of me and my son.

They are all nice at the practice.

Dr. Hanauer doesn't simply come in to deliver when she isn't on call. She comes in to deliver when:

1. She is not on call

AND

2. The doctor covering for her is already at the hospital

AND

3. It's two o'clock in the morning

She is the best doctor that I have ever gone to and the only one I ever felt comfortable with. I recommend her to everyone I know and actually find myself feeling sorry for those who go to someone else.

As for waiting for appointments, I only had to wait a couple of times. I guess it depends on what time you go and what her schedule is like that day.
