Favorite Disney Resort
What is your favorite and why?
I have stayed at:
The Swan (nice but not disney)
Carribean Beach Resort (loved it, it was my first real vacation and we got engaged on this trip)
The Wilderness Lodge (I thought this resort was amazing!)
We are off to the Beach Club next...cant wait!

I can't choose one...LOL
My top two are Wilderness Lodge & Boardwalk.
I love the decor and location of the Wilderness lodage...I really like that the villas are close to the bus stop, being able to take a boat to the magic kingdom. And I love the pool bartenders - Stew & Johanna.
I love the boardwalk because of the location, the dozens of restaurants, the light airy feeling, being walking distance to epcot & MGM. And I love the Keister Koaster at the main pool!
We have also stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. I think this is a really nice hotel...the restaurant is good and the lounge is comfortable. Plus I really enjoy it when they have Bob Jackson performing in the lounge.
We stayed in Old Key West once but it was sooooooo big which annoyed us a bit.
The beach & yacht club are REALLY nice!! Again you have the great location. The Cape May Cafe has a good character breakfast and they have a clam back thing in the evenings I want to try one day.

my favorite is definitely the polynesian. but it's so darn expensive i'll probably never be able to stay there again.

Me too!!!! and I've stayed in alot of the resorts. We LOVE the Boardwalk. I've stayed there 3 times!
Wilderness Lodge just has a great grand feeling. The decor was terrific.
And I've stayed at:
Port Orleans
Polynesian
Caribbean Beach
All Star- Sports
Animal Kingdom (this is my 3rd fav)
Beach Club
Yacht Club
Contemporary (yuck!)

We stayed at the all star - movies. It was OK, but more geared for kids. I absolutley love Coronado Springs!!!

I've only stayed at 2 Wilderness lodge and Beach club. Of those I like Wilderness lodge the best!

I have stayed at the following:
Grand Floridian (2x - fabulous!)
Beach Club and
Yacht Club
Polynesian
Carribean Beach
Port Orleans Riverside
Wilderness Lodge
Out of these, I think I liked Carribean Beach the least (it was really packed and I hated our room, so I am not objective about it) and I loved the Grand Floridian and Wildness Lodge the most

I've been to the Contemporary - which was nice. The best part was the location (so close to magic kingdom!)
I'll be staying at the beach club in 29 days - I'll get back to you!
I'll have to ask my friend amy her favorite - she's been to all of them but the all stars and animal kingdom.

I have only stayed at ASMusic and POFQ. I LOVED POFQ and if we can't afford a deluxe for our honeymoon, I would not mind going back there. it was SO romantic, so so far it's my favorite.
