I was told that I HAD to tell you ladies..... ** Advice re: bedding

For those who have not had your shower yet to "PLEASE Register for more then 1 bedding set"

I always give this advice also but a friend just had a baby and finally realized it is true Chat Icon

I only registered for 1 set of bedding that I loved and quickly learned that between spit up, vomit, leaking etc. you will need to have an extra set of bedding washed and ready to go while your main set gets washed ( My friend went to put her baby down to sleep she spit up everywhere and my friend had to change the sheets asap b/c the baby was ready for bed. She would not have had time to wash them and put them back on)

I was told to get lots of extra sheets, but to need a whole 2nd bedding set seems odd to me...

Well as they get a little older and start using the comforter the same thing can happen with that. I had 3 sets of bedding and 2 additional sheets on top of that.
I thought it was way to much but I did indeed use them all

THANK YOU!!! I thought about this and didn't want to do it because I was afraid it seemed greedy to put 2 sets on the registry but you are right.

However...there is ONE set that I REALLY want Chat Icon what if I only get the other? Chat Icon

With the price of crib bedding sets
I would ONLY register for one and do additional sheets and blankets,
MOST people I know say the whole bedding set is a waste and NEVER use the comforter for the set, usually use another blanket!!!

but registering for additional sheets, blankets is great advice, thanks!!!

That is true!! Just make sure you have extra!!!

Honestly I always used every piece of the bedding. Comforter included

There are "cheaper" bedding. I got one main sat that was I think 169.99 and then 2 other bedding that were only $50 for a full set ( I think looney tunes and one with peter rabbit)

I got 2 bed sets and I got a sheet saver for each one. So the sheet saver is the only thing that gets dirty (spit up) and then all I do is untie it and replace it with the other one while I wash it.
