Room decor question
How tacky would it look to have a themed room and have a completely different looking mobile? I want to do the baby's room in the Zanzibar theme, but I really dislike the mobile. I really like the NY Yankees mobile. I know it doesn't match at all, but I thought it looks cute. Any thoughts? Thanks!

funny you should mention this because i just finish buying the Yankee mobile and it doesn't match a thing in the room. My dh and I are die hard yankee fans and won't care what anyone would think or say.

not to spoil the fun...but in my honest opinion...i personally am very anal about things matching so if it was my room I would get the zanibar. Not to say the yankees one won't look nice. But I have a thing for order and like a common theme.

If it makes the colors of the room then it is fine. If it is totally off base then it might not work as well.

Im the same way.....I know that there are other animal themes that may match.
