Star Jones of the View...
i read in the ny post that she'll be leaving the show in july. i wonder if it has anything to do with rosie o'donnell joining the show. when they called barbara walters for a comment, she didn't comment

I bet it does- Rosie was very PO'd about the way Star dealt (or didn't deal) with questions about her weight loss. She also made comments about Star's "gender confused" husband (or something similar). It would be a real snarkfest if they were together- I'd watch!

While not a fan of Star Jones, per say, I would have to say that she is pretty nice in person. I went to 2 tapings of The View...don't ask. She is the ONLY one that comes out during the commercial breaks and talks to the audience. She even let a girl in the audience wear her HUGE engagement ring!! (for a few seconds) She was very friendly and nice and answered ALL questions! Joy Beyhar is a ***** and whenever asked a question, she would roll her eyes or say she wouldn't answer! Elisabeth was nice. She danced in the audience during commercials. And Meredith was great. My brother was a contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire College Week. (He won $16,000) After The View's taping, we went down to the stage to take a picture with Meredith. Do you know she REMEMBERED my brother from a YEAR earlier! She said, "I know you. Millionaire, right? Was it, ****?" She REMEMBERED his name! The kid felt like a celebrity himself. SHe's very nice.
But back to Star, I know reports are that she's not a nice woman. But on her show, she's very personable.
In any case, I look forward to Rosie. She's awesome!
