DH lost his ring
I am so upset. Dh lost his ring in the ocean at Fire island. We looked as best we could for it...his friends even got out scuba gear and checked in the water. But it is gone for good. Dh feels really bad about it too. I know I can replace it, but it is the sentimental value that has me most upset.  I just cant seem to get over it yet.

IM SO SORRY TO HEAR. I DONT WEAR ANY JEWELERY WHEN I GO TO THE BEACH FOR THAT REASON. I LOST A TENNIS BRACLET THE FH GAVE ME...HE WAS SO UPSET AND SO WAS I.

Im sorry. DH lost his in the Hudson River last summer when we went white water rafting. It matched one of mine (I have 2). He went back to the plec hwere we bought them and had them make it up. It looks better than the old one.

Awww! DH thought he lost his and we were ready to go get a new one when he found it. I know the first one holds sentimental value, but it's the meaning behind it. Now go get a new one ASAP!

Yeah.... have him bring the ring to the priest/minister/rabbi or whoever married you. Have that person "bless" the ring so its at least an "official ring". 
That may make him feel better.

I like the idea of having the priest/rabbi bless it. Maybe also put it on his finger the same way you did at your wedding afterwards will make up for some of the sentimental feelings

I like this idea, but we were married at our hall and I am not sure that the priest we used would do this for us. Maybe I will go to Flowerfield though to give it to him.
That may make him feel better.

DH lost his too! We were married a little over a year and went to snow blow for my inlaws when they were in FL.
We had a friend come over with a medal detector when the snow melted and no luck. We looked in the glove he was wearing..Everywhere.
We also went to the laundromat that day and the owner hung signs for us.
We moved into my inlaws house now, so, im hoping when I least expect it, bam it will be there. Our jewler still had us on file and make up the same exact ring! I know its not the same, however, It looks great.

That happened to my husband two days into the honeymoon in Hawaii and he put lotion on my back and went to clean and shake off his towel well he took his ring off before he put lotion on me! we looked all over the beach and could u believe I FOUND IT IN THE SAND 45mins of looking!! 
I never prayed like that before!! U need to pray to St Athony!!!
