I'm here guys!
I just got home a little while ago -- had to feed Emily (my niece was watching her for me) and just had some dinner because I was starving...
They are thinking that he either has pneumonia or the flu. THey are running tests for both. His white blood count is really high, which is why they are thinking the pneumonia. Basically it got really really bad and he seemed horrible because of his asthma -- that's why he was having such bad breathing problems.
And as far as the leg pain -- he said it hasn't been this bad sicne 10 years ago when he first got the GBS -- and so they are looking more into that but think it might just be because he was running a high fever -- it was up to 102 today!
He was admitted and will be in the hospital for 2-3 days. He'll be in there for Emily's first thanksgivign which really makes me upset.
Thank you so much for thinking of us. I read some of the other sad posts on the pregnancy board just now and it makes our situation seem like nothing in compairson, but I really do appreciate everyone's thoughts. You guys are all so amazing.

I'm glad to hear it's only pnemonia or the flu. But I'm sorry he has to stay in the hospital so long. What a stressful day for all of you! I hope Emily sleeps well so you can get some rest!

Glad ot hear he is OK, I know it must be hard not having him home for Emi's 1st holiday, but she is safer having her Daddy not around her since he is so sick.

I hope he is ok. I am asthmatic too and it can really be a PITA when you have any kind of repiratory thing. At least there are some great drugs out there now to help with the inflammation and wheezing. Hope he is better soon!
