what is number you dial to get a restricted number from a cell phone

I only knew that when you call someone from a restricted number to make the # show up you dial *82 - or something like that.

yes that is the only thing i have heard
i can't see why people would have restricted numbers if you could get it

You have to dial *67 and then your number.
It should show up private.

if someone calls you from a restricted number you call and get it back.
If someone has a restricted # and you want to see their number, you dial a certain code... Then when they try to call you it says they have to dial *82 to unrestrict it. I have that
