I often tell my mom about my disappointments everytime AF comes. she keeps telling me to relax and it will happen then. the last time I was complaining about it she told me that her and my Dad also tried for a while before they had me (I was the 1st) and that her Doc told her to go away and relax somewhere. so they went to a Dude Ranch upstate and that's where I was conceived.
I didn't know if I should be grossed out or not, LOL! but I thought it was kind of a cute story.
do you know where you were conceived?

Yep! I was conceived at Penn State when my dad was in grad school.
My parents had just moved up there, been married for a couple of years and the first month they tried they found out they were pregnant.
My mom says she cried and cried because she thought it would take longer. (Thanks mom!)
I went to Penn State too and whenever I drove past the apartment they lived in I would say "I was concieved there!"

I think you should name your first child Jesse James(boy) or Calamity Jane(girl) in honor of the dude ranch!
In all honesty, I believe I was conceived in the bedroom of the house my mom still lives in!

I am the last of 6 so I assume I was conceived very quickly, in the middle of the night!!
But I love your story - DH and I are going to a ranch in Colorado on Thursday!! (I already O'd but what the heck..)

My Dad often tells me how he really pushed to have a 3rd baby (me) and that I was conceived after the Long Island rail road strike. I guess my parents hadn't seen each other in a couple of days. I don't get grossed out. I think it's cute.

DH and I need to go away!!!!!!
Oh, and my niece was conceived when my sister and her DH were in Ireland. I think a vacation is a good idea no matter what you're looking to achieve
