My MIL bought me a new dress for a wedding I have tonight...
I am so grateful because I was telling her that nothing fit me and she came over the other day with a few outfits she bought for me at Lord & Taylor to try on. I loved one but I still look so fat.
I know it takes time but I am so depressed. I don't even want to go tonight.
I wish I could wear a sign that said "Just had c-section 2 weeks ago." That way everyone would know.

Don't worry about being a little heavier then normal I am sure some of the people know you just had a baby and I am people will figure it out and if not screw them have a great time

It will come off sooner or later.. I still feel your pain.. don't worry you are beautifull.. and keep telling your self that and then look at the little one and remember it was all worth it..

I'll share a little secret with you.....go to Macy's and buy one of those corsets that **** in everything. You'll be amazed at how thin you feel. To be honest with you, I wore it almost everyday for at least 2 months. I swear it helped me lose some of my weight. I felt sucked in all the time and clothes felt better on me. Just some advice.

BUY SPANX!!!!
Spanx has a pantyhose for new mommies. Gwynneth Paltrow and Jen Garner wore them after having their babies. I wear them and when I do everyone asks me if I lost weight. You will look 10 pounds thinner after putting them on, I promise.

Just pull them over your incision and you should be fine!  You can get them at Nordstroms, Lord & Taylor or Bloomingdales. Good Luck!

I agree with the others - get some **** 'em in underwear. That was very sweet of your MIL.
Make sure you bring a picture of Andrew. They wanted to string me up at a wedding for forgetting them.

Aw Im sorry. I know how you feel.
I have 2 weddings in a couple of weeks and Im not looking foward to shopping for a dress to fit my post-pregnancy body.

I had a wedding a month after Ryan was born. I had a section too. I know it's tough.

This is apparently what all the Hollywood new moms use. There is no way they can look picture perfect just weeks after delivering without some help!!
How nice of your MIL!! You're lucky to have a good one.
