Upset, feeling sorry for myself- sorry to hijack this bd.... not pregnant yet and upset.....
I do not know if I am posting this on the wrong bd, but u all seem so nice. I sincerly mean that. Anyway, I have been married for 2 and a half years, and we have not been "officiALLY" trying, but kind of, I had a MC in December, not many people knew about it, I am kind of quiet about those things. But lately it seems like it is everyone's business when I am going to have a baby. I am getting fustrated and hurt. I had one friend in particular who said to me, when I was telling her I want to redo my kitchen- " Um... don't you think you should be concentrating on other things, then she said, "save your $$ you might need it to get pregnant! " I am so upset and hurt, she of all people went thru a lot to have her baby, We are trying to now time BD'ing and if need be go further with tests, etc. I am 35 and I am so sick of people saying- "You are not getting any younger!". I got AF today, and it is depressing me enough- I have been thru a lot in 1 year- my MIL passed suddenly and I do not have my parents, they both passed away, there was a lot going on settling her estate these 10 months. I have a 3 month old niece who I love so much- and my sister always tells me I will make a great Mom- and it feels good to be told this- but it is so fustrating. I am so sorry to monopolize this board- I just need a shoulder to cry on and someone to listen. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry you're in this situation. We can't (unfortunately) control what other people say, and yes, it gets hurtful
If you're private and don't want to talk about it then, you will ahve to bear these comments...or do as I do and avoid them
Both situations are stressful

Im sooo sorry!
I did want to say try to give your friend a second chance,. This is gonna sound awful but I understand what she said and or maybe why she said it, if she was struggling too to get PG.
I know now that I have spent thousands to try and get pregnant , When I see a friend of mine spending all this money she doesnt have and shes been trying for a few years to get PG ....., I think think to myself..oh God I hope she realizes she may need a whole lot of $$$$ to get PG.
What happens is we become jaded and I have a feeling thats what your friend meant. At least I hope so.
Anyway, I hope you find some peace and some happiness.

i'm sorry too for your mc. i know the emotional hurt is terrible at times.

It's very hard, but it might make you feel better to take more affirmative action. Maybe see your gyn and have him do some bloodwork, etc. Keep your chin up and do what's right for you.
