My SIL is havin gastric bypass surgery tomorrow...
not the type where they cut the stomach but the one where they put a rubber band around it...the band is adjustable and you can have it taken out if you wanted to or if there was a problem. I am saying lots of  that all goes well and this surgery changes her life for the better! She is at the point now where her weight restricted her life and activities. I hope she becomes a healthy, active person! 
Do any of you know anyone that had this done? How much did they lose?
