Vent about Sunday's Mets-Phillies game

I ordered tickets to this game back in May for my dad's birthday and the whole family is going - on us - we spent close to $600 on tickets.

I chose this game beause my dad is a Phillies fan and we are Mets fans. I also chose this game because it was an afternoon game and I am taking my 2-year old son to his first ball game. he is so excited!

then I find out this week that the game has been switched to an 8 p.m. time start instead if 1 p.m. so that ESPN can have it as their game of the week

How is my 2-year old going to be awake for the whole game. Tickets were too expensive not to take him.

I'm just angry, but we are still going!

ugh...that stinks

unfortunately, when they make the schedule in the early part of the year, they don't know what the "hot" matchup are going to be

i am assuming that whatever was originally scheduled for that slot has less viewer interest as the year progressed, so they had to replace it with a game they felt would get more viewers
