congestion/cold
Hi All,
Well I'm back!
  
Did anyone else get a cold or feel really congested with a sore throat in early PG? Is that one of the many aspects of pg?
I feel like a truck hit me this morning...

Yes me!!
I actually had the cold/congestion from heck a good 1-2 weeks solid BEFORE I had tested and got my BFP.. it was horrible, and lingered up until I got my BFP
I read subsequently somewhere that some women do notice an increase in congestion/etc when newly pregnant, so I guess this is yet another one of those "good" signs

Welcome back!
The week I got my BFP I had the worst cold ever- fever and all, I thought I was going to die.
That is actually why I got my bfp-I wanted to test before I started any meds. Feel better!

I did... and I let it go for so long...when I eventually went to the DR. I was so sick... he put me on med. and said to NEVER wait that long again...
There are certain antibiotics your reg. MD can perscribe to you if you are sick...

I'm really congested, especially at night when I lay down. I've heard you can use Afrin but Im going to talk to my doctor on Wednesday when I have my sono and see what they tell me I can use.

i've been congested for weeks now. i'm not sure if it's a cold or allergies or just being pregnant. i tried using a saline nasal spray, but it doesn't really seem to help.

I was a big ole nose the entire time I was pregnant. It didn't clear up until I gave birth. I know that Afrin was a no-no, but those saline drops were just horrid so I have to admit that I was a sprayer and used the Afrin. But it made me feel so much better.

My congestion just started a few days ago. I can't tell if it's allergies or a cold, either!

I had a lot of sneezing and stuffy nose from weeks 3-6. At week 7 it went away.
